Artist's Comments

let the right one in.

finally got some time to do a quick painting. I spent more time editing the colours than actually painting the thing. -_-; fanart for a swedish film of the same title. It's about a vampire and his friend. highly recommended.

That is a wonderful movie, we couldn't get the subtitles to work though through most of it so I much of the conversation went over my head, but still... wonderful movie.

As is your painting. Her hair is amazing, just so.. I don't know... just gorgeous. Beautiful, just beautiful.

Thank you Sarah for that...

The film was very beautifully made and indeed did justice for the books in the way a film can only do.
I still recommend the book as well though. Perhaps because it's more mature than the movie itself.

As for your artwork, very lovely I really like the vibrant colours although the strings kind of make me wonder.
Definite favorite.

Oh I remember hearing about that movie awhile back. I really want to see it. Maybe I'll look for it tomorrow.

Love this, the colors are wonderful.

There was an odd colour theme throughout the movie. The colours that kept appearing was red, gray, blond and the most vibrant, that aqua blue colour. It sorta tied all the scenes together, and also seemed to have significance to Oskar's memories, childhood and innocence. Probably the loss thereof due to Eli.

i just found it interesting and decided to play with it.

This movie was fantastic and utterly haunting and horrific. And your painting does it awesome justice. Love love love.

I haven't read the book but I'd like to find it someday. D:
