Info : This is for a final end of year project for sculpture. The subject was 'lace'. I chose the fictional kingdom of Falls D'Ange, which, if you look through my gallery, is where almost all the characters I draw come from. It's acted as refuge and a escape for me so many times and it's helped my friend and I get through shitty and depressing times. To illustrate that I drew the aftermath of a battle, with the title being 'home'. It's sorta like saying, even though things aren't always as you'd like them to be and there's defeat, shame and exhaustion, there is this place that will always house you in the hardest periods of your life. Even if this place isn't perfect, and sometimes breaks down, that only means you have to help yourself help it, and build it up again. It's a safe place and a dangerous place and a place of inspiration for the last four to five years.

I took a lot of help from people on DA in amending the original sketch, which can be found in my scraps. I changed the hair, the upper hand, the sword, and lengthened the flag. The emblem was designed by me, and that's a temple in the background.
