UPDATE: I'm astonished. In just ONE NIGHT we raised enough money to pay for the operation simply from the kindness and generosity of strangers and friends alike. I've really been on the brink of tears all day, as has my sister. I can't thank everyone who donated enough. Donated money, art, subscriptions or even a simple shout out. It was overwhelming and amazing. I've been hugging the fats all day, I don't think he has any idea what's going on.
 ;;We recently received horrific news after taking our family cat, Tigger, to the vet for his three month check up. He has cancer. The vet is unsure at this state if it's malignant or not, but despite this ambiguity, the lump that was found needs to be removed immediately. It's small by human standards, but if one of us had a growth of proportionate size it would be a little larger than a man's fist. The lump is located at the base of his spine, near his lower intestines. If it continues to grow at the accelerated rate that is has been, it will kill him. Within three months this tumor has developed which is extremely rapid. We, as a family, cannot afford the surgery. It will cost at least $1000. It might sound like a lot, but it doesn't have to be, and we're hoping to raise that amount with a raffle. `budgie and myself organized a fundraiser to Save Tigger. The two of us, as well as a handful of very talented artists, are donating works to five lucky winners. Tickets only cost $5 American.
